Body / Exterior
The car is painted Glacier White Pearl and still shines new. The
car has never been in an accedent, and does not have any scuff marks. In
other words, the paint and body are in superior condition. The `95 wheels
have been swapped out for the more prefered, and better looking 16" `97
wheels. All tires have a large amount of tread left on them, and new set of
Dunlop SP Sport 8000's are on the front of the car. A complete tire alignment
was done when the new tires were put on.
Engine / Drive Train
The engine is a DOHC 24 Valve V6 with a five-speed manual transmission.
Later model 3000GT's went to a 12 Valve SOHC engine that put out nearly 40hp
less than this engine in stock form. This car's engine sports a K&N
High Performance Air Filter, which helps the car breathe better and put
out more power. Mitsubishi says the car has over 220hp, and the K&N filter
helps grab a couple more than that. The engine has always been well
maintained and has had it's oil changed every 2000 miles since I've had
it. The majority of the miles I've put on the car have been freeway miles,
and this car makes driving long distances enjoyable, and comfortable. The
engine does not leak oil, or smoke at all, it idles smooth, and reves
through the RPM band with ease. The car passed California Smog Tests
without a problem, the testing facility said the car ran very effeciently
and clean. I have never had a problem with the engine or the car in any
way, and it has been the most reliable car I've ever owned. I have a
transferable Drive Train Warranty that is good until the end of the
year.
Interior
The interior is charcoal grey cloth with leather and patterned accents.
Inside it is very quiet, and comfortable. Everything seems to be located
exactly where you'd think it should be. The interior still looks new,
without any cracks or rips anywhere. This car has been owned by smoke free
house holds and still has the new car smell to it. The Infinity sound
system is truely a premium stereo system, with great clearity. The A/C
blows cold, and all of the controls work as they should.
Why I'm selling
I am selling the car because
my collection of cars has become too large, and I am moving. In my spare
time, I fix up and restore sports cars, this was the first car I've owned
that I did not have to do this to. All I had to do was general maintence.
I have enjoyed every bit about owning this car, and would do it again if I
had the choice.
